A well-known cleanser with an extensive history. Formulated with Asiatic resins and plant oils, Chinese Wash is often used as a floor wash, added to baths or spray bottles as part of regular spiritual cleansing rituals. The label on my bottles features a pair of Shi, more commonly known as Fu Lions or “Foo Dogs”. These lions are prominent in Japan and across Asia for being guardians: one allows the blessings to enter as the other keeps evil at bay.

My Chinese Wash is made as tradition calls- broom straws IN the bottle. This is not only an integral part to this formula, but is symbolic of its ability to sweep away evil and negative energy. Without its addition, “it just ain’t Chinese Wash!”.
