Commonly known as jequirty or rosary pea, these peculiar looking seeds were traditionally strung into necklaces and bracelets.

In Hoodoo and Conjure, they find their use in workings of protection, luck and to ward off the evil eye. While many used to fashion these into rosaries, I can only recommend adding them to mojo bags. I do not recommend wearing them close to the skin.

For a strong hand against jealousy and evil: carry 9 seeds in a red flannel bag with Alum & Devil’s Shoestring.
